I Scatter Light and Shine
February 26th, 2009I scatter light and shine with a glow of many facets I work hither and fro.
I think I just found a purpose in all of this work I’ve been doing trying to find my purpose. My purpose is to support and inspire and I can do that by being myself and doing everything and I mean everything I can to be all I can be all day and all night.
Since I haven’t been able to find the example I’ll have to be the example.
With so many facets and so little time I think I’ll just keep being me and sharing my little tidbits of information to encourage and inspire those that need and want what I have to offer.
If I don’t have the ability right now to focus maybe I can help someone else get what they need to accomplish their mission. If my belief system is correct the benefits I’ll reap from giving away the information and help will far outweigh anything I could ever be paid in cash for.
I am open to and would like to sell my art but right now my focus is to get it out to the world and free is the easiest way I know to do that.

It’s all FREE (or real cheap) on The Internet - Yes, Everything!
December 9th, 2008Yes, it’s time to get rid of everything and move your life to the virtual world of cyberspace. Everyday there is another free tool that will make it easier for you to communicate, create and be compensated.
I just heard of a company creating a web based program called “Ghost” (Global Hosted Operating System”) from a Palestinian IT company that is partnering with an Israeli company. They have to meet at a “Desert Cafe” because neither one of them is allowed in each others neighborhood. But, it goes to show you how The Internet brings down the walls and opens the doors of perception for those who wish to see and share.
Whether you are an artist or a pedestrian you’ll probably find a lot of these sites very useful. I don’t know where to begin so I’ll start with image editing and move to book publishing.
Photoshop Express is a great FREE tool available online at This is a good place to start since you’ll need to edit your images before you can post them to your website or use in a book.
Most beginners can’t afford Photoshop but here’s a new online service from Adobe called Photoshop Express. This site makes it easy to get your images ready without having to buy the program. This isn’t a full version of Photoshop but it’s enough for most people to get started. If you don’t have any of your own images to edit you can get them for free (if you aren’t making money off of them) from this site at www.PeaceWarrior.be/Free or you can go to Google and do a search for free stock art. Just remember that the only reason anybody is giving you anything for “free” is to promote themselves. So when you download a “free” stock image, desktop wallpaper or any other graphic online please do the right thing and give a link back to the source site with a credit. You can only take so much before you have to give back and nothing angers an artist more than being taken for granted and not given credit for their work. It’s only fair and if you don’t want to give a credit or link then you can purchase a license for a small fee. Most of us don’t charge more than $20 for a license but we still want our photo credit. If you do a Google search for free stock, free images, etc., you’ll find quite a bit of good content. You can visit www.TonyMiguel.com to see some of my work that may not be posted yet on PeaceWarrior.be/Free.
Ok, so you have some free images and a free image editing program. You can get a free blog from Google at www.blogger.com | www.myspace.com | www.webs.com and many more. The first thing you need to do is define your audience and decide the best way to get to them.
You can get your own hosting space, install Wordpress like I’ve done here and manage everything yourself for about $10 per month just make sure your site comes with Fantastico. It’s a commercial script library that automates the installation of web applications to a website. Fantastico scripts are executed from the administration area of a website control panel such as cPanel. Fantastico’s web site claims that they are installed on ten thousand servers, with a million users worldwide, which would make it the leading product of its type. (Description courtesy of Wikepedia.org) You can contact me directly for more information by clicking here.
You may want to get a MagicJack or two (an east coast number and a west coast number) for about $30 and $20 a year for unlimited calls using your high-speed internet connection. I have one that I use in Mexico and Los Angeles and the number is the same in either country. When you call my Los Angeles # I may be in Mexico, Key West or New York. Your caller ID will show you my L.A. area code. It’s a great service, it has call forwarding, and voice mail. An reminder email is sent to you with a .wav file of the message. This is a great way to record notes-to-self for your blog or podcast.
Oprah Winfrey is the one that brought Skype (Internet video phone) to my attention last spring when she did an Eckhart Tolle book project for 10 weeks and had callers from all over the world using Skype to communicate their experiences with her andEckhart.works well.
Your options are endless if you really want to get something done. Most people don’t have a clue what they want to do or how to do it but let me tell you that the tools are available.
I’ll continue this post in the next few days…
In the meantime you should apply for a Google account for AdSense and AdWords (If you don’t know you about Google’s Control Panel then you need to do some reading.)
Get a PayPal account so you can get paid.

Get a MySpace, Facebook or other social networking account so you have a place to let everyone know about your new business. It’s all about networking so you should start ASAP.
Once you’ve setup a MySpace account you’ll want to customize it so it stands out. Billabot.com is just getting started and he does good work. If you don’t find what you’re looking for at a free site you can always hire Billabot.com to make you a custom template. You can see one of his MySpace templates at myspace.com/freddyandfrancine.
Now go to Commission Junction and sign-up so you can place ads on your site.
This is the first in a series of the peacewarrior.be/Informed articles to help you find your way online.
Until next time.

Why give away free desktop wallpaper? Ynot!
November 27th, 2008Exposure is the first word that comes to mind. The second is Ynot.
Ynot is Tony spelled backwards and Tony is my name and Ynot is my game.
I went through a period of depression because I was creating more art than I could manage and not making any money. I am driven to create so I had to come up with a way to be able to create freely and still generate a reasonable income.
I did some research and found that “FREE” is the way to reach potential customers in the current marketing paradigm. Not only is it the best way to generate traffic to your site it allows me to be free to create knowing there is an outlet for the work. I’m tired of creating work that sits on a hard drive or in a box gather dust. I don’t want to have to die before the world see’s my work.
The desktops have a Peace Warrior watermark to remind you where you got it and where you can get more just like it.
If you need the watermark removed you can send me an e-mail with your request.
If it’s for a website, business or personal just drop me a line stating your desire. I’ll either remove the watermark, license a larger image for a small fee or sell you a print.
If you are a non-profit or need the images for a good cause send me an e-mail with your request.
You can also use the images to create a book with Blurb or Lulu which I will go into later.
Here’s my Blurb book.

Welcome to the Peace Warrior Be Informed Blog
November 26th, 2008The goal of this blog is to inform users of the FREE Tools that are available on The Internet.
I realize that I have quite a few snippets of information that I’d like to share.
Whether you want to write a book, learn to meditate, build a website, customize your MySpace account or learn how to make money online I would like to share the tools that I’ve found that can help you.
I have a few different sites for a few different things. Living The Agape Secret is a site where I share my experiences in personal growth that I’ve learned from my many teachers, one of them is Michael Bernard Beckwith of the Agape International Spiritual Center in Culver City, CA.
Rev. Michael is one of the teachers from “The Secret” as well as a member of SGR - The Science of Getting Rich. Rev. Michael Beckwith has teamed up with Bob Proctor (The Secret) and Jack Canfield (Chicken Soup.)
One of the things that I’ve learned from my reading and stduying spirituality is that you have to walk the walk and not just talk it. We all walk our walk in our own way and need different tools in order to fulfill our goals.
That being said, I promote SGR, Anthony Robbins, Deepak Chopra and other like-minded individuals becuase I do live in a brick and mortar world so I do have monetary needs I place ads on my sites, join affiliate programs and do my best to sell my art. I will always do my best to give you Free information but sometimes free isn’t the best way to go. You have to know what things you have to pay for and what things you can get for free.
I could ramble on and on about this but instead I think I’ll close this post by welcoming you to the Peace Warrior Informed Blog.
Don’t be shy, ask a lot of questions.
